The Mayo Radio Experimenters Network is the most active Amateur Radio club in Ireland. Meetings are held at 9 P.M on the first Wednesday of each month in the upstairs room of Stensons Pub in Ballyvary village, just off the N5. Visitors are always welcome.

The club runs a number of events and activities throughout the year, including the Mayo Rally which is without a doubt the best radio rally in Ireland. The club also runs the Worked All Mayo award scheme based on the WorkedAllIreland award; this has proved to be very popular.

August 2004 Club Meeting
Mayo Rally
It was confirmed that the Mayo Rally rally will be held in the Belmont Hotel Knock on Sunday November 21. Doors open at 11.30.

July 2004 Club Meeting
The July meeting debated the continued threat from PLT in Tuam, and the sub-committee gave an up to date report.
The club discussed plans for an autumn trip to Germany, and the ongoing licensing situation in Ireland.
